Lind Park Building

As the home of the Berkeley Park District offices and programs, the Lind Park Building has been a mainstay in the community for 40 years. Located at 1200 Lind Ave, it serves as the main location for our indoor programs.

The building includes restroom facilities, a full kitchen, two divided areas – one carpeted and one tiled – and ample space for programs, parties and exercise classes.

Berkeley Park

Located at the corner of Taft and Electric Ave, Berkeley Park is the focal point of the community. Once home to the Chicago, Aurora & Elgin Railroad, Berkeley Park’s history is rich with change and innovation. Now home to an extension of the Illinois Prairie Path, the park is used for many activities all year long.

In addition to a wide-open area, Berkeley Park houses such amenities as Veterans Park, two sand volleyball courts, a t-ball field, a baseball field, two pickleball courts, tennis courts, two picnic pavilions, restrooms, playgrounds and the picnic gazebo. In the winter, the Village of Berkeley also installs an ice skating rink, weather permitting.
