Pickleball League

Join our Adult Recreational Pickleball League for fun, fitness, and friendly competition! This seven-week program welcomes players of all skill levels, ages 18+, to enjoy weekly matches, skill-building drills, and a season-ending tournament where the league champions are awarded prizes. Games are held in the evenings at Berkeley Park courts. Players must provide their own paddles to participate, while pickleballs are supplied by the Park District. Register as a team and serve up some excitement!

The fastest growing sport in America is pickleball, and you should be playing too! This recreational tournament is designed for novices and beginners to enjoy a day of spirited fun outdoors on the pickleball court. Grab your bestie and come on out to our courts and give it your best swing. This one-day tournament will follow a double-elimination format based upon a random, blind drawing to seed each team at the start of the day. The winning team will be awarded our champions T-shirts. Sign up early as we have limited space and will only accept up to eight teams.

Youth Volleyball with Chicago Elite • Ages 7-13

Chicago Elite Youth Academy is a co-ed development program designed to introduce children to the game of volleyball, as well as to help them build a solid foundation of playing skills in the sport. In this 4-week program, Chicago Elite Volleyball focuses on teaching a variety volleyball skills including; passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving, defense, and other strategic movements to enhance your child’s game. Players will be divided accordingly based upon their current skill level and age to be challenged accordingly. Each child will receive a t-shirt at the conclusion of the program from Chicago Elite Volleyball.
As the Park District doesn’t have its own gym, we are currently working on securing the school’s gym as in the past regarding dates and times that this program can be held. We encourage you to contact the Park District at 708-544-1935 to have your child’s name added to our Interest List. Once the logistic have been completed, then the Park District can contact you directly through email and provide you with detail information and when to Register online.

Join us for the Bongos Song Collection this Fall!
This fall, families will come together to sing, play, laugh, and learn with the Music Together Bongos Song Collection. The songs include lots of upbeat, active songs like “See How I’m Jumping,” our take on the timeless nursery rhyme “Hey, Diddle, Diddle,” and beautiful melodies such as the Japanese song “Hotaru Koi” and “Walking through the Woods.” In addition to your weekly classes, your registration includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, including an illustrated songbook and access to the songs through the Music Together app.

Create lasting musical memories with your little one in our engaging mixed-age classes! Designed for children from birth to age 6 (infants thrive with early musical experiences!), our 45-minute weekly sessions bring families together for singing, dancing, instrument play, and pure musical fun. You’ll be amazed by how much learning happens naturally!

Great News for Families: Siblings under 6 months and over 6 years attend FREE with a registered sibling (please register them online so we can include
them on our roster – you won’t be charged!).
